Good Day All,
I am wondering if any current or past Pilots from Pal have any insight on the conditions there? I noticed they have a YHZ base however only the occasional classic comes in. Are you always deadheading out of YHZ to start your day ? How low of time do they hire OTS for FO positions.

They currently don’t have a plane based in YHZ, but last I heard the plan was to have a Dash 8-100 based there again for the summer. Crews are currently being deadheaded to YUL or YYT for week long pairings. The YHZ base was never really stable. As for how much time for FO, given the current situation, I would say not much time required.
