Responding to questions during question period, Health Minister Jean-Yves Duclos said the government’s priority has been to protect the safety and health of Canadians. “Including the tens of thousands of people who had to access the designated quarantine facility,” said Duclos. “Because of these measures and vaccination, we have saved together, Mr. Speaker, tens of thousands of lives and tens of billions of dollars in economic cost.”

Well shit if we didn’t spend half a million per person to quarantine, we wouldn’t be saving lives! This is good for us!
