Flight instructor training ( Ontario )

Post by ellinas »

Hello aviators, with the shortage of class 1 instructors I’m trying to narrow down which flight training schools in Ontario offer flight instructor training?

I’m renewing my expired class 4 instructor and would like to find out who offers it. I know Spectrum in Burlington offers it but I’d like to know from instructors if their schools offer it.

Thank you

Go see Kevin Brighton at Spectrum. The sooner you get on the schedule the better. I wouldnt drive to Brampton from Hamilton if you don't have to.

Spectrum has a 6 to 8 week waiting period as they have many instructor students ahead of my request

I suggest booking right now then. You'd be surprised how fast 6 weeks goes by.

Thanks, I think I’ll put my name on the list .

I’ll reach out to other schools in the area and see if they can help me out.
