Hi everyone, I'm hoping someone can provide some information regarding taking Lyrica and getting a CAT 1 medical.
I've had localized neuropathic pain for the past year, with no identifiable cause (no diabetes, X-ray, MRI, etc showed no abnormalities, etc). My family doctor suggested that I take Lyrica as it has shows to be effective for people with diabetic neuropathy, and it might help in my case.
It has been working very well for me without any side effects, but as I'm going to be renewing my CAT 1 for the first time this spring, I was wondering if this medication was disqualifying for a CAT 1, or if there are any hoops to go through to be approved to use it. Before speaking to my CAME, I was hoping that there might be someone on here who has gone through this process before. I saw an old post on this topic, but there weren't any responses.
Feel free to PM if you like, and thanks for any help.

Re: Lyrica and CAT 1 Medical
Still interested to see if there's anyone on here who is on Lyrica and can hold a CAT 1 medical. My medical is in a few weeks and so any information anyone might have would be really helpful.
