Is anyone with similar profile here?
Possibly, we've hired a few pilots around 1500 hours although the recruiting team certainly prefers to see some 705 experience. It would depend on your Compass Test score. If it's above 28 then we'd likely consider that level of experience.

At what point in the process are you given a Compass Test? 28 out of what possible score?
All you need to know is that a higher test score in addition to performing well on other elements of the interview will increase your chance of being hired.

Group exercise.

Compass test. DECs get a shortened version as opposed to effoes. It is quite interesting. Multitasking with some joystick fun amongst other exercises I can't recall.

Panel interview.

I am not aware of the scoring system of the Compass test.

Good luck.
Group exercise? What is the exercise consist of?

They present you with a scenario and see how you work with your team members to solve the problem.

You are assessed on your team work and decision making skills.

Lasts for about 30 minutes. There is a debrief which is more like a discussion about the scenario.

I think GS are suspended from 3rd April Onwards. And i am pretty sure 3rd April GS is full already. As only 2 weeks are left for that.

A very good turnout with significant interest from some really experienced and motivated pilots. Unfortunately due to recent events the South African hiring will be put on hold until required in 2024.
