I always turn first to the section "I Learned About Flying From That' in Flying magazine; I think it would be great for the 'oldtimers' to post some of their experiences for everyone else.
We have a wealth of experience here that could help a lot of low timers from making the same mistakes. I for one have a tale I've been meaning to put down for a long time - the worst I've ever scared myself on a trip to Bella Bella a few years ago.
Cheers

These threads pop up once in a while, but I think a forum on it would be very valuable, because it would concentrate the most important threads in one spot. Maybe you could call it the "OOPS! I almost crashed and died" section.
Whatever it may be called, I think it would be the most valuable forum as it would save our lives by letting us learn from other people's mistakes instead of just our own.
Safety folks, safety. You can't have fun flying if you're dead.
