class 2 prep books

Post by RickN »

Hello,
I was just told to renew my class 3, so I think I might as well study for class 2.
I would appreciate any books for preparation.

I don't know of any books that exist, but the flight test focuses a lot on supervision of Class 3/4 instructors. So assessing their critiques of student's performance (through reading their PTR comments, for example). And also demonstrating that you could maintain operational control of an FTU as CFI. There's a section in the CARs that talks about operational control and vaguely what that includes. But other things to consider in addition to that are items such as, how would you maintain operational control while on vacation (for example). Some things to think about anyways.
