I heard 50% of the pilots signed a petition to have him removed.

Does his name rhyme with Miser? Is he even based there anymore?
Not seeing him on the YWG position award list.

Because he's 100% displaced.RippleRock wrote: ↑Fri Jun 23, 2023 2:39 pm Does his name rhyme with Miser? Is he even based there anymore?

To represent 50 people.
What a waste. Back to the line.

There is still a hangover from ACPA's "governance model"

Well, this guy is a leftover part of the -rot- we knew as ACPA. All the disease must be cut out, or it will continue to infect the rest of the body. Here's hoping.
Saw a guy wearing an old red ACPA lanyard at the airport a week back. I could only see them as someone with an IQ in the low 90's. Greedy or stupid is the only way to describe those at the trough right now.

I know where I'll be July 20th!
Drinking refreshments and recalling the Chair
Hopefully he enjoys the line again. He didn't seem to have any problem doing OT fully displaced

Any normal union person would have resigned but this isn't about what is best for the membership.
This is about a guy who wants to continue that full displacement train
Still some of the ACPA Legion of Doom left

Good times!
Motion passed easily & great to see everyone
There will now be an electronic vote to toss him
Meanwhile he is busy doing VO on full displacement
Sigh

This is the exact self-serving rot that got us to where we are today. Don't ever forget who these guys are and what they have done to your career.
Not one of the "diseased group of 27" should ever be allowed anywhere near a position of power ever again.
Re: Mini base LEC recall?
VO on full displacement while in negots... and the day after your base votes to put you up for recall? Seems more like a good time to resign.
This is right up there YUL vice chair taking VO to go to the MEC meeting with 600 on the street "so he didn't have to ride in economy."
All these guys are kunts.
Send them back to the line and wish them a lonely career.

Btw, he wasn't doing VO, just keepimg his currency. But let's not get the facts get in the way of personal bashing.

Re: Mini base LEC recall?
If electronic, it should be a quick execution.
Any idea when we will hear of the results??? I'll crack a beer to celebrate with anyone else who believes in unity and progress.
FWIW, How the heck do we get rid of Evans and Ralph? It would be nice to toss all the "duds" and proven "underperformers" in the bin.

He is going to need his currency when he returns to the flight line full time in September
Guess he will get his summer off after all...paid for by the group of excellence called ACPA

Re: Mini base LEC recall?
If you're going to join the conversation on the defense of these "displacement leeches", why don't you tell us all how great they have been for unity and the betterment of the Membership? Don't hold back.
These have been the -absolute worst and divisive- 20 years in the history of our existance. Full stop. Guys like him were at the forefront of our WACON purge for a very long time. Always handing out concessions and hard earned contract capital like clowns flinging candy at a parade. Always "fixing" Company irritants or sloppy planning at the expense of the Membership. Always the first into the "burning building" to save the Corp from imminent demise, with never a care for what was given, and no plan to ever get it back.
We elected these people and trusted them to be the -guardians and custodians- of a contract 65 years in the making. What did they leave us with....... a goddamn mess, that's it. We are dead last in every category, we are the bottom feeder of Legacy Aviation. The "frostbacks" of the north.
I don't wonder one bit why guys are a bit "frosted" with his performance.
FWIW, The "bitter irony" is that we are now negotiating a new deal directly with the "former elected ACPA reps" that are 100% responsible for us being dead last. You can't make this shit up. Our table adversaries know the contract better than the current MEC and negotiating team because those Management negotiators CREATED IT. More shit you can't make up. Jokes on us. He's part of the exact same group.
Be prepared to "HOLD THE LINE",' or get eaten for breakfast. It's gonna be a rough go. We're going to have to fight hard for every scrap of gain.

Re: Mini base LEC recall?
Keeping his currency this time. What about the other 85+ hours of VO he's done? All those CUN turns? Funny how he stopped picking up all the flying once the recall petition started going around ...or was it because the weather warmed?
If he doesn't want this to get personal why does he make it all about himself? Just resign!
50% of the base physically signed a petition for him to leave. Everyone is working their ass off this month and here he is, fully displaced, making people burn a day off (or submit proxies) to boot him out. I heard he looked absolutely pathetic at the meeting. Hope he bids off base or goes into management, no one here wants to be anywhere near him.
