True...mabye...I won't get to fly "home" to visit my parents, but there's about a 75% chance that I'll get to go home and spend Christmas with my girlfriend.

False. I think that if you've decided to make the sacrifices necessary to have "made it" in aviation, you've proven that you truly love what you do. Being able to do something that you love that much for a living is outside of the "normal" experience. Most people can't say that they have the best office in the world...or that they truly love what they do for a living.
