It probably will never happen as long as the VIA train exists and serves Kingston. Enroute time of 2+30 hours station to station for less cost is hard to beat any airline service that isn't subsidized in some way. And the city of Kingston has made it clear it has no interest in doing so. Pascan lasted less than a year going to Montreal.

Not the market Porter is necessarily chasing. Ceetsinly not with the E2s, incredibly unlikely with a Dash - particularly in these circumstances of crew shortages.
