Commuting from Halifax
What is it like commuting from Halifax? Easy or not so easy? There's a good amount of flights but I guess a lot of people trying to get on those flights?

I do know there’s quite a few commuting from YHZ. Thankfully, some airlines have opened up the FD for other airline’s participating pilots to sit in the jump. It’s one extra seat that many can’t occupy.Launchpad1 wrote: ↑Mon Oct 16, 2023 3:51 pm What is it like commuting from Halifax? Easy or not so easy? Talking with friends that commute from the coast, it can be challenging; But very doable. Plan accordingly.

Alot of commuters out of Halifax. AC pilots/FA's and Jazz pilots and FA's. Some are quite senior.
It is doable as the previous poster said, but you definitely have to keep an eye on the loads.
I commuted alot on encore and porter as often the AC flights were packed with standbys.
