You may have set a record for ancient thread resurrection, and usually people will give you shit for doing that, but you picked a good one. Very entertaining.

Gool thread resurrection. Good old days from this forum.
Is . (aka Cat Driver) still alive? He was old back when I started on this forum around the turn of the millennium.

I was talking to a mutual acquaintance this past summer, and he said Cat Driver was doing good. Slowing down a little.
How can you tell which one is the pilot when you walk into a bar?....Don't worry he will come up and tell you.

Last seen on a forum we're not allowed to mention here. (rhymes with spud)runners.com using his real name.
I don't have a login there so can't search for his last appearance.

The story you shared about Mike Pearson is truly touching. It's remarkable how his compassion and leadership impacted your life during that memorable summer in aviation. His legacy lives on through the lives he touched. My condolences on his passing; he sounded like an extraordinary individual.Nrega Job Card Listwhisair wrote: ↑Thu Apr 23, 2009 10:29 pm In 1982 Mike Pearson hired me. I was running the Victoria Parachute Center at the time and my chief instructor had just got killed in a freak accident. I was looking for a bit of a change and Mike must have felt some compassion becuase I didn't have a lot of experience. It was one of the most interesting summers I have had in aviation. Mike was definetly a leader and a fine person. I was sad to hear that he died.

I saw the Flying Firemen Canso take off and crash in YQT in 1984. It left an impression on this young (at the time) pilot.
