It’s only logical that they will. Their business model is the same as Flex in the US, and with over 30 tails it’s only a matter of time. They’ve copied everything else, like pilot schedules, home basing, callout’s, 25 year payscale, etc.

Next logical step is larger aircraft type, but more importantly, is to copy Flex’s latest move, advertise all in renumeration to include total benefit costs paid to pilot, adding retirement saving costs, average per diem intake, etc, to inflate and advertise how you will make more than just airline wages for 3-4 years with charts rigged in the company favour, conveniently leaving out other competitors in the same business (netjets, other corporate departments). Come here, look at how your total compensation is more than just the flat wages at AC, and how you’ll make more than them for a short few years, while glossing over the big picture…

Don’t be blinded by the shiny jets. Get your time and move when your experience allows it, you’ll be further ahead in 5 years at any airline or corporate department than you would be at a fractional, full stop. Add a 10 year and beyond picture, you’ll pull away by a much larger margin.

It would be an incredible feat if they managed to move into the long range jet sector especially with our population(USA has nearly as many affluent people as we do total).

From my understanding of how the business model works you need a network of clients and machines, you can not start with one large jet. If the plan is to specifically target an aircraft for its range capability I don’t think five tails would be enough to satisfy a 12 hour call out. There may be clients who want to take their beautiful G400 to KTEB or KAPF but I believe the financially savvy client of a fractional would be using a large jet solely for its range. So what happens when you’ve got all five tails in Milan?

Five G400 tails would cost more than their entire CJ fleet. Ten tails would cost more than their current fleet, essentially doubling the fleet from an investment perspective.

They’ve got a brilliant team at AirSprint and one hell of a sales department but this is an absolutely massive undertaking.

It would be a big expensive step, but in the end the problems to solve are the same which they already did. What if all planes are in KTEB and a client wants to use the plane out of KLAX? Guess you got to ferry the plane over.

Bigger planes just mean bigger distances, more money and likely longer call outs. The max duty days are fairly fixed, so you might need more crews as well. But the principles involved are still the same.

As an AvCanada discussion grows longer:
-the probability of 'entitlement' being mentioned, approaches 1
-one will be accused of using bad airmanship
