I worked in oz ten years back. Then a year one 737 FO got paid more then twice what a Canadian year one FO gets, 1.5 x the 'leader' of the Canadian aviation wolf pack. It's always been better thanks to AFAP

Got some more details. Bonza FO's are making in the high $130's ($137k with no OT). They currently don't have pay progression but they are home every night and have quick upgrades :smt040

Currently, the lowest paid Captains in North America are starting at $144k. But the union says the 85 hour MMG is the best because you'll be able to go to the bank and take out a bigger loan.

Close enough to be rather ashamed of what we vote in for contracts in Canada.
