Re: Best way to get 200 PIC hours?

How did you get 1500 hours? Probably as an FO? If so, is there a PIC US program available at your employer?

As an AvCanada discussion grows longer:
-the probability of 'entitlement' being mentioned, approaches 1
-one will be accused of using bad airmanship

Do not go Instructor route as you will be doing students a disservice.

So any pilot instructor who is doing the job in order to obtain hours and experience is doing a disservice to students?

Agree to disagree. That’s your opinion. My opinion is that you’re wrong and there’s nothing wrong with instructing to get hours and experience. Please don’t comment on this post anymore shamrock104. You have contributed enough.

Can you tell us what answer you'd like to hear? That way we can be sure you'll only hear what you want to hear.

I have been told now I suppose. Being open to other opinions probably very important in this Industry. Think of being crew and CRM, I have no more suggestions either way. Enjoy the hour building whatever route you choose Sir.

Another AvCanada thread where someone poses a legitimate question, then gets frustrated because they don't like hearing the honest answer...
