Re: Porter opening bases
Strike while the iron is hot I always say. Air Canada has shown it's faith in Jazz, which didn't amount to much. Air Canada's reaction to their regional partners and their line pilots honestly leaves you wondering who's advising the decision makers in the C-suite, because thinking this is 1992, is not a good look.
Keeping Jazz so suppressed and unable to follow a similar path like they see in the U.S. would potentially avoid ememboldening the main line crews during their negotiations. But is killing your only regional to soften negotiations (or lack thereof) really a strong move during your competitors largest growth spurt ever (or in the history of N.A).
Talking about looks, looking forward to helping welcome y'all to the line when things come together.
