Rumours are being floated about Smartwings coming to Canada this summer to do an ACMI lease for Sunwing .
Does anyone have any real info on this?

Considering we are sending 5 airplanes/crew to Prague to fly for them all summer, I doubt it. But stranger things have happened.

Haven't heard anything like that.....and it makes no sense.
We are starting the process of sending their planes back to them after they were here for the winter season. 9 of our own aircraft are going to Europe for the summer.... and all the western based aircraft are going east as Westjet will do the summer flying out here.
Given all that - there is no chance in hell that we are doing any kind of ACMI.
