Porter Q400 2024 Hiring process, March April interviews

Has anyone done Porter Q400 interviews (late March early April) and what’s the response time?

I recently did an interview with Porter for Q400 FO position. It’s been almost 4 weeks and no response, do they tell people they are not being considered anymore or they just don’t contact you anymore.

From my experience the Porter Q400 application is slow and the communications infrequent. I applied in late November, got my first communication in late January and an interview in mid-February. Communication from there was infrequent and often initiated by me. There was talk of a sim eval in April but that never materialized. My understanding is they have paused ground schools in June and July with August TBD.

Current TT 1430 of which 470 is mult-turbine-SIC. I had ~200 fewer hours when I applied.

They should let you know of your candidacy, they don't ghost you. If anything reach out to them and ask the status.

Yes I would have to do a sim eval

They will contact you for the sim eval . That's my guess.
I don't know how busy they are with SIMs tho.

Yes they said next available ground school is going to be September, also quite a bit of wait for the sim evaluation.

Porter sim pool question.

Anyone also in the Porter q400 sim pool, I heard the next sessions are going to be in June, has anyone got the email to book the sim yet?
