AC Share Price Approaching COVID Low - Time to Buy?

Post by rudder »

Lots of factors but the market is punishing AC stock. Previously revealed that several institutional parties have shorted the stock.

Talk of pilot strike and potentially shuttered operation not even in the news yet.

Is it time to buy the low or is there more room to fall?

On a price basis, stock is low. But if you factor in share count, we still have a lot of room before we hit a Covid low. Share count when from 260 million shares prior COVID to 360 million shares now. Shareholders have all been diluted and hold a much smaller piece of the pie (than they think).

Covid lows were at $10. We're at $14. It still has to go lower and with the FED finally cutting rates and the recession in early 2025, I won't touch the stock before it hits those $10. I'll DCA from $10 to $7.5.

I don't see any good news up until the recession is done.

Don't think the stock ever went to $10 during Covid, care to back that up with a date?

When you factor in 360 million shares today VS 260 million pre covid, todays 15$ is like 11$ pre covid. People tend to forget it’s not only a question of share price but also of how many shares are in circulation.

The problems are the fundamentals deteriorating and the stock is on a support trendline. Any rebound would be short-lived.

Closed that day @ $12.90 on massive trading, sure hope we never get that low again. Covid was one thing but the price reflected today is a result of incompetent management, who's only concern is DEI.

Go Woke - Go Broke seems to be the winning strategy.

Of course its in the news. Do you actually think institutional investors get their trading ideas from the Toronto Star?

Most kids these days have passports before they're 1. While their Grandparents might not even have one at all. There's going to be a revolutionary increase in worldwide travel over the current amount.

Probably after the strike, the management team will be flushed then the stock will start rising. Stock buybacks next year will help as well.
