For the record we have had hundreds of guys going on VO over the last week. Not sure what to think about it, but I guess we don't want that contract that much after all.
Why don't you call them to know why?
Are those pilots junior?
Can the union (LECs) call these pilots? It's a tricky conversation, cause the union can't say don't do VO, that would be a form of job action as well.
I know times are tough. Flat pay is terrible, cost of living increases suck. Maybe a 2nd job, drive for Uber Eats. Something like that until this is all over.

We need an official scab list. These morons should be named, shamed, and denied jumpseats.

There is a fairly complete list.
The behavior is monitored and will have reputational consequence among other things. Anyone thinking they are acting with total impunity when they save the day and fly on days off has another thing coming.
We're down to the line here and we see some guys that were at the picket even picking up trips and premium. Did you not hear Charlene? Can you not contain your behaviour for a few weeks? Where is your integrity?
Staying home now is what it takes to get a deal and not go on strike. That OT on offer wasn't yours, it was passed on by the ones with integrity senior to you.

Shame on you if you took VO during these times. The company wants to lock you out and you’re going out of your way to bail them out.
Absolutely disgusting folks
American unions would have these guys tarred and feathered.

If someone could compile a scab list for when the dust settles on all this it would be extremely helpful. I certainly “wouldn’t feel comfortable” having one of them getting on a flight I’m operating in the jump.

A bit hard to call someone a scab for not following a rule that the union doesn't dare to officially publish though.
Absolutely an asshole move, but not a scab just yet.

I'm aware. That's my point. If the union doesn't officially ask/order you to (not) do something, you can't be a scab by not following those non existent directives.
You can be a selfish asshole, but not a scab.

Senior NB and WB captains. At least in my base...
IF TRUE……..Preface.
Gee. What a surprise.
The same Captains who loudly declared here “I’ll never vote for a contract that isn’t good for everyone, down to the greenest FO”? Oh, the fake morally righteous.
You guys who eat your young are really a piece of work.
And Shut up Tbayer, I’ll write my opinion when and where I please, being in the industry or not.
Maybe shame will motivate those who have made it , to help those who haven’t. Doubtful, but hey why not try.

Senior CAs only? That's bullshit.
The list of company-cock-smokers contains junior to senior and all seats. Lots of junior FOs, that really have the most to gain here and for the longest, are partaking. Many junior Captains that would never ever get a call for VO or draft/drop any other time are helping out.
This company had a history of a small group of senior guys selling out everyone junior to them in exchange for attaboys from management, that's not the case anymore. Now we are witnessing all the cucks coming out and fucking the whole profession.

It’s also tactically retarded. These weaklings are sending management the signal that the pilot group is not united. Voting Yes for a strike doesn’t require any sacrifices, skipping on VO does. It’ll only increase the risk of management calling your bluff.
If you can’t handle not picking VO … then what the hell are you going to do when things get really tough?
“We want a world class contract”
Ok well what are you going to do about it ? You think AC management will give you Delta pay out of the goodness of their heart?

While the sentiment above is true. At this point the MEC speaks for and makes decisions for us. The company knows they make the decision to go on strike and accept TA. The morons doing VO don't impact those decisions.

That's why they need to be called out and publicly shamed. In their minds they are "getting away with it." There need to be repercussions.

There you have it, I don’t see support for a back to work legislation for AC pilots, give er! I am also think the earliest confidence motion will be Nov unless of course Trudeau interferes with your right to strike!
I am so pumped for you guys and gals!
Yes, it’s for selfish reasons, I can only gain if you gain
