How much of a bonus will the Executives get?
The CEO Mikey seems pretty happy with the agreement with Air Canada pilots "providing the company the stability and flexibility to pursue its growth strategy".
Which is code for thanks for taking sub standard rates and giving up scope concessions
Well done to this MEC. We can all Win as One again.
While we get zero share of the profits and the Executives get to Rise Higher with ever higher bonuses

I hope I don't see any orange lanyards Saturday when I go to work. What a waste of a campaign.

Not as happy as we would have been if this had been a 10yr deal. Take solace in that. Some might say it’s not the deal you wanted or expected, but it maybe it’s the deal you needed to get you through the next few years. Remember the Americans have been following pattern bargaining for almost a decade. This was Canada’s true first contract cycle.

Yeah we really showed the company and I'm sure WestJet pilots are really impressed with the gains they get to pattern bargain off of.Red1 wrote: ↑Fri Oct 11, 2024 4:39 am Not as happy as we would have been if this had been a 10yr deal. Worst productivity, worse TAFB credit, still 50% Deadhead, no bonus plan, training outside of block...oh yeah...
Not to mention the Execs compare themselves to US airlines.
Air Canada has been around for 85 years and now the new excuse is: "Canada's first contract cycle"
