Not much for pilots other than growth and expansion. Just a reminder of how big AC is and will become. Exciting growth and future plans with an insulting pilot contract.

- 737 MAX fleet transferring to Rouge (F/A's want Rouge to become mainline in their next contract). TBD situation
- New A220 base in YVR
- A220 order top up to 70 total
- Photos hinting at a new Signature cabin design
- Vague ultra along haul market mention in 2030+ (can really only be the A350 ULR if talking about types). YVR-BKK/SIN is pretty ULH to me already...
- Congested maps showing potential new destinations for A321XLR, 787-10 and B38M under RV ops.
- Better depicted potential destinations shown on another map such as Bali, Fiji, Saporro, Vietnam.
- Improvements to Aeroplan blah blah
- Technology/AI implementation
- Happy investors laughing at F/O pay

Wow. I’ve never seen so many charts and graphs and bullshit on a company presentation before. At least there’s a plan, I guess. Hopefully you pilots are on board and willing to accommodate. Good luck

I didn't read the whole thing, but wasn't it basically a fleet reshuffle? Hardly earth shattering or any big change to business strategy.

Markets are usually down on news (even good) and go up on rumours.

This wasn’t an earnings call. It was a preview of the business plan.

Likely the market is questioning whether a 33% revenue growth plan (with a corresponding capacity increase) is achievable in what is largely viewed as a saturated marketplace. What about the competition? What about yields? What about interest rates? What about currency exchange rates?

5 years in forever in the aviation business. I applaud the effort. Just not sure that it was necessary to go in to such granular detail with investors.

AC wants to return to its pre-COVID market cap. It has a plan to reduce the outstanding float. And it is hoping that initiative combined with sustained profitability will result in a meaningful improvement in share price.

Day 1 wasn’t great. But there are many days over the next 5 years. But what AC does not want to become is a target of day traders. It wants to be identified as a value stock. That has always been a tough sell in the airline business.
