Air Canada HR revises previous T4's so pilots owe more taxes

It's for all the shine points they doled out in 2022. All departments got them.

If you get a revised T4, you absolutely need to re file.

A few years ago I got a revised T4 because of parking. It wasn’t much, maybe $200, so I didn’t do anything. A couple years later, something else happened and I got a massive fine (like $8k) for being a “repeat non declarer of income”.

Thankfully my fine was cancelled with a bit of a chat with a kind lawyer from the CRA.

They had previously said they would cover the taxes on the shine benefits so employees realized their full value. I guess they changed their minds, standby for new manager award of excellence incoming... They should keep their shitty trinket points and pay us.
