Q400 Ground School Schedule?

Greetings all,
Was just wondering if there was a general timeline/schedule that Porter normally follows for their Q400 ground school? Number of weeks? Classroom time? SIM time? All held in Toronto? Any virtual?

Dash classes all at the island as far as I know.

E2 being held at Hilton double tree on Dixon. Rates are available. Sucks they won’t cover the cost of rooms if you’re YYZ base. Some of it virtual or self study also. Not sure how much anymore.

3 weeks gs in YTZ Mon - Fri, then 3 weeks sim at flight safety. Possibly some observer flights or time off in-between depending on sim availability.

If you're hired for YTZ base (most people), Porter will NOT cover hotels, per diem, transportation, etc.

Just a small doubt as I am new to Aviation, Do we have to pay for the Airline’s Type Rating or Ground School???

Regardless of where you actually live, if you're based in YYZ/YTZ, costs are on you. No hotel/per diem/transport. Spent a couple thousand dollars for E2 training being a commuter.
