So tragic. It diverts to JWN with “trouble” and even overflies the airport .., looks like
Re: Canadian Piper engine failure in Nashville
He started out earlier in the day from Milton, Ontario making a stop in Erie, PA then departing Mount Sterling, KY at 19:19 before crashing around 19:45 while attempting to make John Tune near Nashville.
A pilot can be overheard on ATC saying: "keep flying that airplane."
Unfortunately, he did not.
An eyewitness (often an unreliable source) is quoted: "I saw an airplane essentially crash out of the sky, fall out of the sky, and hit the ground at around a 45-degree angle," Wiser said in a phone interview with The Associated Press.

Looks like the plane was based at Brampton Airport. Registered to the owner since July 2023. Sad to hear it turned tragic especially when he flew directly over Tune at 2500'.

Unfortunately, I don't know how to provide a link to the NTSB site to get right to the report(let me know how it is done).......
"Based on available pilot records for review, the investigation determined that the pilot had accumulated about 200 total hours of flight experience as of February 22, 2024, about 10 days before the accident flight. Of those, 43.4 hours were flown in the accident airplane make model. The pilot’s documented total night flying experience was 18.5 hours.
The National Transportation Safety Board determines the probable cause(s) of this accident to be:
The pilot’s failure to ensure the proper placement of the fuel selector during the approach and landing, which resulted in fuel starvation and a subsequent total loss of engine power."
It appears that the selector was in between tanks selections at the time of impact.
