Should I send a resume now or wait?
Hello
I’m in the process of completing my Class 4 Renewal flight instructor rating. I rewrote the written and completed showing my Class 1 instructor my PGIs.
I’m guessing I’m about 2 weeks away from completing my flight test pending success and will apply at the local flight schools that are already advertising for flight instructors.
My question is should I send them a resume NOW telling them I’m interested in applying or should I wait the 2 weeks?
Any comments or suggestions would help thank you

I would definitely start reaching out to chief flying instructors now, you can send a resume with an estimated completion date. Just remember weather, maintenance, and a few other factors outside of your control can delay things.

Better yet I’ll pay a personal visit at some of the schools in person and introduce myself and drop off a resume.

I’d send your resume now-with a quick note that you’re finishing your flight test in about two weeks
