The only answer to your question is, whenever you get hired by someone else. It doesn't take 1500 hours to be competent in the right seat of a Pilatus or King Air. I'm of the opinion that too many hours burning holes around a circuit just makes the transition to operational flying exceedingly more difficult. Some of the best pilots I flew with up North had little to no instructing experience while the more challenging one showed up with considerably time in 172s and 152s.
So I'd suggest you starting applying and interviewing anywhere you can. At your experience level, take the first job you'll be happy with and don't look back.

Don't quit your instructing until you get a job offer. Pretty simple. Until then complete your PIC requirements for ATPL.
