Not even considering the expenses, pilots on the new contract should vote for reps that are also on the new contract. Unless you are green circled your interests are not being represented by this MEC.

I find it interesting how much unity is preached by ALPA despite the disparities between the green circle and non. Pension, DH travel, and years of service carried over 1 to 1 for upgrades. Ive heard the "we're on the same pay scale" a hundred times but they didn't start on the B-scale. They voted in lower starting wages to leave theirs untouched.

They have already made it abundantly clear that this has affected "every" Jazz pilot! The contract violations barely affected them and yet I can't wait to see the gains they get from this.

Careful Nick, your privilege may be showing…the ‘green circled’ pilots had been around earning their career before the non green pilots. The contract, and all of its glory, was voted on as a whole piece and yes, there are, definitely some not so good parts about it such as the slide scale to the left seat as you mentioned. All parts of the CA were negotiated by the union and proposed by the company. There was a ‘cost’ for everything in it, including the flow arrangement. So yes, ALL pilots at Jazz were affected by the CA and its inner workings in some way and therefore, the ULP.

Looking forward to seeing the finances from the union for all the items being discussed previously. I truly hope there has been nothing nefarious going on. My confidence will be shaken if so. Attend the roadshows and wait for the release of numbers. We need to stay united now more than ever.

There was a "cost to everything" the seniors got job security and the juniors got flow right? Jazz pilots lost 500-1000 numbers at AC, what did you loose?

All Jazz Pilots were affected!!

I was ‘junior’ once too and now time has made me ‘senior’. I never once disrespected or felt distain to pilots who had come before me and ‘paid their dues’ whatever that had looked like for them.

The disrespect from some ‘junior’ pilots towards more ‘senior’ ones here is absolutely shocking. What a brave new world we live in.

Just remember that one day you will be ‘senior’ too and I hope you receive the respect you earn. Time will wait for no one…

I deleted some sweary posts. Let's try to keep this remotely professional, or maybe at least civil.
