We are currently seeking an skilled Licensed Avionics to join our team.

Job Title: Licensed Avionics
Location: Barrie, Ontario
Term: Full-time, Permanent or FT Contract
Company: Smart AMS Inc.

Roles and Responsibilities:
• Maintenance & installation of avionics and electrical systems in accordance with applicable installation drawings and/or manufacturer’s maintenance and installation manuals.
• Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, maintenance manuals, etc.
• Install, test, and verify operation of avionics systems and equipment with the purpose of successfully diagnosing failures on various airframes and types using hand tools, test equipment and technical documents.
• Ensure that all installations are completed according to SOP’s and in line with Canadian Aviation Regulations and/or FAA Regulations, as applicable.
• Resolve discrepancies in an efficient manner and work to maximize quality and meet deadlines.
• Assist with mechanical / electrical removals and installation.
• Record work on company build sheets or applicable forms.
• Tagging of removed parts as serviceable or unserviceable.

Qualification:
• You have received training from an avionics/electrical Aircraft Technical School or other substantiated equivalent.
• You have a minimum of 3 years of avionics work experience.
• AME-E license required.
• You have an understanding of Canadian Aviation Regulations and FAA Regulations.
• You demonstrate good judgement in conjunction with technical skills to make decisions regarding the order of work performed technique and troubleshooting.
• You have an understanding of all technical documents such as technical bulletins, alert service bulletins, etc.
• You have the ability to read and understand electrical engineering drawings.
• You have hands-on electrical experience.
