Kenn Borek air hiring requirements
Currently a student who will be graduating with 260 hrs TT with group 1 IFR and frozen ATPL within the next 3-4 months. Was looking at potential jobs to apply to this fall and came across Kenn Borek. As far as I can tell it seems to be like a great company to work for, yet I am a little confused about the hiring requirements. On their website it says that 1000 TT is "preferred" for their FO's yet I have seen through various forums that they do hire pilots at 250 TT as long as they work flight following or the ramp for a little while? Can anyone give me clarification as to how they operate these days?

CP IS A GREAT GUY with a brutal task. Keeping 100 + pilots happy with a mgt that is 1970s era. Across 4 contients . pay is behind the 2025 inflation curve . not the cp fault. The mgt is canadian heli and there cultures are complimentary . Based on paying workers in the construction industry by the day pay,

Best gig for a reliable rotational schedule be02in yev. But if your thinkn being a beech 1900d capt. Highly unlikely as currently 2 very, very experienced arctic 1900d capt in there 50's will age out n retiring approx 2035 2040 . Cyev medivac next best schedule. 2 on 2 off > the rest have yur kit packed n ready at a moments phone call.
First officer , 45-55k pay . Expect 60kto 75 k for new minted capt kingair 250 though can make yur own deal if you come with a ppc or 1000 + HOURS multi PICand KINGAIR $100,000 - $ 125000 depending on how much yur willing to work is possible. Remember day pay you only make approx min wage when not on base / shift as a base salary . . Flying is spectacular seeing in the first person from antarctic to the alert nu . Memories one will appreciate more with the passage of time. Strong work ethic , ifr and hand flying skills . Bring as little personal home baggage /drama as possible .as yur sharing crew house, tent or camp .
