Re: WB?
They placed an order for 25 Airbus A350s last week.
Seriously though, they're about half done the expansion of baby-NB (or overgrown regional jet, whatever you wanna call it).
They're not engaging in another major fleet type expansion at the same time.

Re: WB?
You are either a troll or you shouldn't be a pilot. Within two minutes you posted two simple questions that the vast majority of us here know from being in the industry, and the rest of us could find out in 7 seconds by using google.
Re: WB?
It's probably a holdover account from the COVID subform. They're lost souls now, drifting aimlessly on a forum that no longer provides them with the opportunity to post the click-bait or rage-bait material they used to. So instead, to appear to still be an active account it's posting AI slop, awaiting the next black swan event to be reactivated as a forum troll.

This place attracts a lot of mental health cases, it's either this or they're out yelling at park benches. BTW...
When's Air Canada going to go into space tourism?

Re: WB?
I heard Elon Musk bought Canada. One hour of space flight gets 10 hours of night X-country PIC time. Send your log books to :Orion's Fannypack wrote: ↑Wed Sep 10, 2025 3:42 pmThis place attracts a lot of mental health cases, it's either this or they're out yelling at park benches. BTW...

Re: WB?
Wouldn't a merger and/or expanded agreement with Air Transat seem much more likely? Why do they need to own the aircraft themselves? Porter is definitely going places, as they seem to be the only company owned by people who care for its success.

Re: WB?
The chance that Porter will want to acquire Air Transat is slim. Air Transat is an easy partner to connect and sell tickets with because they expand the Porter network and for Transat it helps fill seats. The TS operation is very different from Porter's and would be a bigger burden to Porter's operations than benefit if it was absorbed.

But think of the endless QC bailouts they'll have access to!flieslikeachicken wrote: ↑Tue Oct 14, 2025 11:00 amThe chance that Porter will want to acquire Air Transat is slim.
