Then why are they fighting it instead of quitting?...nohojob wrote: ↑Tue Nov 25, 2025 10:56 am If you're senior enough under 65, you can bid reserve and list yourself last out. You will have the same result.
Also, I am sure that all the guys very vocal about this issue would just quit to leave the place to the younger pilots just because they don't want them to wait more for the upgrade.

Doesn't matter the way you look at it, I don't think ARs will last after Summer. Also I doubt the company fully understand how the Sunwing winter works. I wouldn't be surprised they decide to upgrade more pilots.thepoors wrote: ↑Tue Nov 25, 2025 2:08 pmThen why are they fighting it instead of quitting?...nohojob wrote: ↑Tue Nov 25, 2025 10:56 am If you're senior enough under 65, you can bid reserve and list yourself last out. Companies don’t really want these guys flying because it makes for a scheduling nightmare with routing around US airspace and not having a US alternate.
That sounds like poor life choices that they want DEI to solve. Keep it in your pants if you can’t afford kids.

Jeez….. you don’t have to keep it in your pants, if the “ ammunition “ is live make sure “ it” is wrapped up. Also , best ensure the “ receptacle “ has a firewall.‘Bob’ wrote: ↑Tue Nov 25, 2025 2:58 pmInverted2 wrote: ↑Tue Nov 25, 2025 4:57 am Sad to spend their final years of life working but there’s lots of guys I know who re-married and are in their 60’s and have kids in university.
