Kashabowie Outposts/ Sapawe Air based on Eva Lake, (180km west of Thunder bay) and 30km east of Atikokan) is looking for a dependable DHC-2 Beaver float pilot for the 2026 season (May 1st- October 31st). This is hands-on bush flying in a remote environment. The job involves a mix of charter, contract, and tourism work, so flexibility and good decision-making are important. The Outpost camps range from 20- 100 miles away from Eva lake. Fleet consists of 3 DHC-2 (1 dual control) and 1 C-180.

Job Description:
-Operate a DHC-2 Beaver on floats throughout Northwestern Ontario
-Fly guests to and from our 10 outpost camps, MNR contracts, canoe trips, search and rescue, northern community flying, and sight-seeing tours
-Transport guests, freight, and supplies to and from Eva Lake and surrounding areas
-Conduct external load operations as required
-Dock work, loading/unloading, and accurate weight & balance calculations
-Daily aircraft care and basic maintenance assistance
-Work closely with outpost staff and interact professionally with guests
-Operate safely and in accordance with CARs and company procedures
-Work schedule is 6 days on 1 day off

Requirements:
-Commercial Pilot Licence with valid Category 1 Medical
-Float endorsement
-Minimum 750 hours total time
-Minimum 500 hours float PIC
-Current underwater egress training
-Valid Radio Operator Certificate
-Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
-Comfortable living and working in a remote environment
-Legal right to work in Canada

-External load experience
-Previous outpost, contract, or northern flying experience
-Mechanical and carpentry skills
-Strong customer service skills
