Re: Financial Hit to WJ over Cuba?
WJ bought the airline and the tour company. The hotels were not part of the deal.
Sunwing (corp) used to have HUGE exposure in Cuba (including 50%+ of all seats flown to and from Cuban destinations). WJ will clearly be affected, but at least they do not have tens of millions of investment dollars tied up in hotels that are for the most part sitting empty.

Rudder is right....While the tourism has shut down and that does affect WJ - we have been able to shift most business for the time being. The big worries for the company right now would be the cost of fuel skyrocketing - with the possibility of jet fuel shortages now creeping into the US....if that actually accelerates - it will be problems for all. Throw in the very real possibility of an FA strike in the coming months and the pilots contract up in DEC - I think WJ is in for a rough ride.

How many more Latin Americans does the CIA have to kill until people realize that?
Oh how’s that Hormuz Strait thingy going?
