I have noticed the new hire experience drop a lot over the last 12 months. People who would have never had their resume reviewed 5 years ago are being hired and their lack of experience is noticeable in the flight deck. A lot of pilots with zero 705 time. There are a number that are just fine, but the difference from 2021-2022 to not is noticeable.

And the training issues I hear about seem to vibe with that assessment.
I don’t work at AC
I don’t know about how good the new hires are in training or on the line.
What I’m saying is that there is still a lot of extremely experienced 737 capts or senior FOs out east that are applying at AC, regardless of the disgusting year 1-3 pay.
