Job Responsibilities
- Oversight and support the maintenance control system. This includes ensuring all aspects are met to support dispatch of the aircraft
- Maintain compliance to CMA SMS, MCM, and MCP policies and procedures.
- Authority for this position included, full authority to remove aircraft from operational status; and MEL extension approval authority
- Plan and issue work packages to the approved AMO in order to comply with the applicable maintenance schedule, mandatory airworthiness limitation requirements and deferred defects
- Defect control including control of deferred defects in accordance with the MCM
- Ensure work accomplished on the aircraft supports technical dispatch requirements by review of the described Section of the MCM
- Communication of technical dispatch allowance with CMA dispatch
- Support for development and maintaining the CMA MCM
- Other duties and tasks as assigned by the Maintenance Control Coordinator and Maintenance Control Supervision.
- Valid AME license required
- Must be able to obtain a Restricted Airport Identification Card (RAIC)
- Good communication skills verbal and written
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work well individually as well as part of a team
- Excellent problem solving and decision-making skills
- Good computer skills
- Ability to function in a fast-paced environment, meeting constraining deadlines
