As Pilot-in-Command, you’ll combine technical flying expertise with good judgment and a safety-first mentality to ensure our aircraft and operations are implemented to the highest standards—every flight, every day.

What You Will Do:
Serve as Aircraft Pilot-in-Command (PIC), with ultimate authority and responsibility for the safe, legal operation of Company aircraft.
Ensure the safety of the aircraft, crew, and passengers, exercising final authority on all flight-related decisions.
Authorize flights only when satisfied that all safety, regulatory, mechanical, weather, fuel, and weight & balance requirements are met.
Comply with all applicable regulations and Company policies, including SMS practices and FAA, Transport Canada, CBAA, and customs requirements.
Conduct required passenger safety briefings and delegate crew duties in accordance with the Flight Operations Manual.
Support Company operations, maintenance, training, and special flight activities (e.g., pipeline surveillance) as directed by the Chief Pilot.
Who You Are:
Able to work in the Canada as per federal, provincial and Company requirements and regulations.
No previous personal or work history that would preclude transborder operations.
Valid Canadian passport.
Valid Transport Canada Commercial, instrument Pilot’s License.
Must maintain a valid Canadian Class-1 Medical.
You will be trained on C-208 and C-206 aircraft.
You have a solid IFR background.
Minimum of 2500 hours of total time fixed wing experience, 3500 hours is preferred.
Strong CRM and communication skills; works professionally and collaboratively in high‑pressure operational environments.
Detail‑oriented and safety‑focused, with a dedication to accuracy and flight operations excellence.
Motivated, engaged, standout colleague who supports passenger services and the needs of a corporate flight operation.
You will undergo various background screening that includes but is not limited to 5-year driving record, criminal check and a company sponsored medical.
Working Conditions:
This job requires substantial piloting skills and quick, accurate decision-making ability.
All skills and techniques could be called upon at once and require flawless performance.
Emergency, potentially stressful situations involving Company aircraft in response to pipeline accidents or incidents will require calm and good judgment about operations, planning and administrative duties.
Operations will be in various weather conditions. Pipeline patrols are to be conducted in day VFR weather conditions with some IFR repositioning and night flights.
Safety-rated, protective eyewear will be worn while conducting patrol operations.
Use of appropriate, additional safety equipment is mandatory while performing the duties of this position.
Air crew are to be cognizant of their health and physical fitness with regards to the ability and dexterity level required to perform the role of patrol pilot. This may require self-initiative and an understanding of personal stress levels associated with this job.
Sensory requirements and risk exposure include caution when working on the hangar floor with aircraft fuel and hydraulic fluid and with other aerial contaminants produced by or used around aircraft.
Flights may be conducted at any time, 24/7; however, the Chief Pilot, working in conjunction with the FOC, will supervise crew scheduling to ensure that the work available is assigned to pilots in such a manner as to permit planning as far in advance as possible so as not to exceed limitations specified in the Company Flight Operations Manual.
Work schedule is based on operational requirements, which will necessitate weekend, evening and/or holiday work times.
Scheduled Days Off (SDOs), vacation allocation and work schedule are to be communicated regularly with Chief Pilot, Operations, and Maintenance staff.
Duty times range up to 14 hours or as specified in the Enbridge Flight Operations Manual.
Efficient use of working hours and careful planning and consistent communication with other operations staff members and maintenance is a necessity.
Must live within a 60-minute drive to Edmonton International Airport.
