Yukon? 442 Sqn Comox
High Arctic? 435 Sqn Winnipeg and 424 Sqn Trenton
Eastern Baffin Island? 413 Sqn Greenwood and 103 Sqn Gander

There are SAR Techs at all the above Sqns plus more at fighter bases supporting local operations.

Cool video! I didn't know a plane crash at take-off speed takes so long to stop. I could have done my taxes in the time it took that thing to skid to a halt!

If you look you can see the tents on takeoff. So I'm thinkin if he landed into the wind it looks like he tookoff with the wind. This could also mean he hit the same damn tree on takeoff as he did when he landed. It frightens me that this clown could be one of the guys who has a resume sitting on my desk.

Ok, truth time here; I admit that I voted for the Liberals for Cretin's first term. In my defence though, I just wanted to get rid of Mulroney's cronies before they bankrupted us. Besides the party I wanted to vote for didn't run a candidate in my riding; whatever happened to the Rhinocerous party anyway?

Nope, but if memory serves, they really skyrocketed under Mulroney.

You sure about that? I seem to remember mortgage rates going up to the 18% range in the late 80's and laughing about it cause I was locked in at 8. Could be wrong though.

WRT Mortgage rates, they rose steadily under Trudeau to a peak of ~ 18% in 1981 (I believe Mulroney was at the helm by then), and have dropped ever since, with the exception of 89/90/91...http://tinyurl.com/9fyqg
