Stay as far awaya as you can from Simpson Street. The trollips hang out there as do low lives.

Move up in the northwest - or better yet, get a group of pilots together and rent just out of town! Party party party and no one calls the cops on you!

How true. The south side is closer to the airport. North side has nicer places but more expensive. A lot of the rental apartments are pretty shotty. ! bedroom will run you from 450-650/mo. TBay is a great place to live though. Lots of outdoors stuff if you're into that.

just moved here myself, HicStick is right.. Simpson is ummm special.... you will get alot more crappy places in the south end. I got a big place, 1 BR, in the north, on a nice street, for 620 all included. Not cheap, but at least it's safe and clean!

Takes me about 13 minutes to get to the airport.

Some places in the south aren't that bad. I used to live in a townhouse on Frederica, west of Neebing, that was alright. It was 3 bedrooms for $850 about four years ago... and you couldn't get much closer to the airport. Between me and two other buddies, it was pretty cheap living.

I have a new 4 bedroom rental house in the south end that I rent rooms in. It is in behind the new Candian Tire store on Arthur St. across from the Valhalla. It is in a brand new subdivision so don't take it as the south end is a place to stay away from. No doubt there are a few not so select locations as there is in the north end. It is a few minutes from the airport but so happens all the rooms are rented at present but who knows by October. Keep it in mind as a room comes available from time to time.

Hey Fingersmac have fun at that three ring circus. I shall warn you know of the hell to come. Confed is a great program. But you will have to get used to Mr. Potter and his crazy plans for the college like buying new dash 8 sims for the college to rent out to big papa AC, instead of buying a couple more 172's. As a past graduate of the program, the first in the new building, it was a great learning experience. You'll enjoy Whitey and Sid. Great guys to learn From. Anyways congrats and good luck. If you are looking for a place there is usually a house on james street that gets passed down through the aviaiton program. 455 James many of past graduates have lived there.

455 is for champs

Post by maniac779 »

If you decide to live at 455 James St., just remember... You are REQUIRED to be a champion.

Being a champion requires getting wasted on a regular basis... SMASHING things. Setting your kitchen on fire. Puking all over yourself and dominating sluts. That house is not a sanctuary for sallies.

Go to college and learn shiz, but have fun too. Don't let the man get you down. Drinking beers makes you learn better.

And CHILL THE @#$! OUT... its just an aviation program. You're not saving the manatees. (You're just taking them home from the bar on occasion)

Above all, have fun and get wasted... alot...

From a HONOURS AVIATION MANAGEMENT STUDENT... GFY

The last true group of champions to graduate from the college did so in 2004. The true glory days of Con College died with the old hangar.

I think its funny what some consider cheap and expensive....the whole valuation of money thing in aviation has gone into some sort of 'black hole' we get paid like crap versus other industries....on average....the owners love it....makes you feel special for making an extra 100 bucks

Shimmydampner, your group may be the last true champions but the Class of 79 were the true Champions. Ask a few of the previous, Coordinators and Instructors and they will comfirm it. "Oh, let the good times roll..."

 Well, I'm not included in that 2004 class, my time was before that. But I don't doubt it at all. I've heard some of the stories about some of the "founding fathers" groups. Crazy bastards you!! :prayer:
Thinking about it gets me psyched for the next reunion! :partyman:

PS-You get the label of Top True Champion and my dream job?! It's just not fair! I have nothing!

Wow....I don't know what to say......I didn't prepare a speech or anything. I have so many people to thank......ok...uh......I guess first I'd like to thank CLguy for giving me the opportunity to showcase my talents. Without you man, I wouldn't have even been considered for this award.........uh.......um.........oh, and of course god, I'd like to thank god for making forest fires and the CL415...........my therapist for not being able to cure me of this shitty avcanada addiction........um............and last but not least I'd also like to thank monkeyspanker for his amazingly witty comments, you're hilarious buddy, keep it up. And uh..........well, we were going to do this later in the show, but since I'm already up here, I guess we can do it now. We know you were trying to keep it hidden since you're so modest and all, but with a name like monkeyspanker and an avatar of the Montreal Expos......come on......you're not fooling anyone. So without further ado, I present to you the award for

Take those rolled up socks out of the crotch of your pants, and let the real man out! Our panel of experts has determined that your funny walk is NOT due to chaffing; your limp wrist is not from a sprain (although that could have had a hand in it) the make-up in your bathroom cabinet was not left by your mother, and the silk panties you launder are not her size.

My milkshake does bring all the boys to the yard.

Thank you kind sir. It seems quite an honour for us both. Given the nature of our awards, perhaps you could toss my salad. I know, you're probably wondering, jello or syrup? I prefer syrup. That's the stuff of champions.
