Electronic Logbook

Post by Apollo »

Wow - I'm on a thread creation spree!

This is my last one for a bit (I promise!) But I was curious, I thought I read somewhere in the CARs that a logbook can be kept electronically, provided it is secure from damage, loss, etc... and backed up. I was wondering if there are any TC approved logbook programs out there, and if any of them are recommended by the AvCanada group?

I just use an excel spreadsheet. That way it is manipulated as I please.

I think an Access logbook would be even better, but I'm not very good with access.

I have an excellent logbook that uses excel.

I can email you an empty one tomorrow if you would like. Just PM with your address.
