delaying a hire date with Jazz?

I had heard if you get hired by jazz you could delay the date you actually start ground school by up to one year. Is there anybody that could confirm that? Thanks

Not sure how long you can delay the hire date for... have heard of some delaying 2 to 3 months. You probably know that by delaying you are passing up the all important seniority number and if you are waiting for AC to call, that might backfire on you.

I tried delaying Jazz, they said unable, i requested clearance to new destination, the engines show no sign of giving trouble (yet).
