Last year my wife won the Colemn Camping PKG. Claiming the prize was worse than doing your taxes with all the hoops they make you jump through. The skilled testing question is a joke. What's 6x2+4-3=?
They give you only 5 minutes to answer.
You have to get a notarised photo copy of the prize cup thingy and then mail off the tag to some place in New Broomstick. They then contact you and ask the question. Then they ship the PKG to the Tim Hortens you won the prize at. Then you have to get there again to claim it. Also be ready to get your photo taken so they can plaster your picture in the newspaper.
It is a nice camping PKG though. Big Coleman cooler with wheels, big tent that has the Tim Hortens logo on it. Two burner plus griddle Coleman stove and a battery operated Coleman florescent light with out the batteries

Why do something now when you can do it later??
So, I decided to look at the Tim Hortons site this morning, just to check out what the odds for actually winning are. It had some pretty interesting stuff. For those who feel like reading the entire thing, click HERE.
For the rest, I've cut & pasted a breakdown of the prize distributions (just as useless trivis):
...... it boggles the mind!

The other bit of useless trivia I found interesting is this... Did you know you are technically supposed to fill in a prize claim form and answer a skill testing question, even for the food prizes? Imagine if they enforced that - Yeah, that would be a real popular move in the drive-thru line in the morning rush!A total of 248,889 cases of contest cups have been produced for this contest: 79,397 cases of medium

this thread is no fun at all for me. I've been outside of good old Fox Vegas the whole time that the contest has been on...the nearest Tim's is about a two hour drive from where I'm working right now.
Tim's isn't my preferred cup of coffee (I'd rather have a really good latte or an americano), but it's still a lot better than the brown dishwater that I can get here.

Please don't tell my mother that I work in the Oilpatch...she still thinks that I'm the piano player at a whorehouse.
