Just when you think it's safe to assume that men consider women as equal professionals in this industry...there always seems to be one new monkey climbing down his tree for the first time to remind the rest of us guys how ugly and stupid we look when a guy like 'bronson' opens his mouth and burps incoherrant digestive gas.

PS bronson:
Apparently...they are doing wonders with penis enlargement surgery these days. Don't you think it's about time you faced the truth and not project it out unto others? Go ahead...lets talk about it. We are your friends...we are here to help you get over the fact that your 'short' comings were beyond your control...until now.

I am new to the forum and if this is like others, I picked a controversial thread to start on...

I agree whole heartedly with this part of your statement.

I am of the old tree swinging school as well and always laughed when my parents friend claimed "the only place for women in aviation is as a pilots mother". Fortunately times changed and I like to think most have evolved to accept women as equals in all facets of life.

Thank god for those Canadian face savers that play hockey! :D

Once I had daughters, it changed the way I viewed and treated women always thinking of them as someones daughter first.

Maybe my enlightenment is just due to age and maturity.

Has everyone forgot "dude looks like a lady" ?

I had a student some years ago who had the best radio voice - yes she was very attractive. And when she spoke the sky's were all ears.

Lefty, its funny that you say I'm your hero, because that's exactly what Tower Dudette said to me in her last romantic PM  She's come a long way, that Tower Dudette, from her days of ill-fated attempts to cover up her desires for some Shankdude companionship, to singing to me, via internet and romantic PM's, her feelings of love and lust that have been trembling within her. Oh, what is a brazen young upgradeable co-pilot to think!?!? Is she luring me into the treacherous waters of sensual bliss like "the lorelei calling sailors into the rocky narrows with her sweet siren song"? Even I cannot know for sure. But my heart will be fine! Alas, there will come a day when I, with my sweet Dudette at my side, will reveal to all of the world, the countless romantic PM's that have been bouncing between us... and our bond will never be broken, our transponders will never read 7600! For we our communicators, on the air, the internet, and of the heart!!! For I must now go, as there is one more PM in my box for Tower Dudette herself! And it reads, among other things, "I send to you, my sweet Shankdown, a message of love from myself and all the ladies in the tower at CY##!!! Especially me ;) "

Shankdude! ;)

birddog,

why is it that your posts always seem to have some sort of reference to either homo-eroticism or occasionally, over-the-top hyper-defensiveness of women? The women I know can take care of themselves, thanks...the self-righteous puffing about "just when you think it's safe to assume" etc etc doesn't do women any favours. heheh my NG-flying sig-other read your post and was like "oh, thank god the mighty birddog is defending us!". I think she was sarcastic. But then, she LIKES men to be slightly stereotypical - strong women sometimes get a bit impatient with PC sensi-wimps! Like, that is so 1997!! lol

And I always wonder what exact inadequacy prompts references to penis-enlargement...I believe in psychology that's called "projection"...;)

Just funnin' ya bro!

(btw I am a MUCH better pilot than my baby....and she told me I could say that...)

I tried but just couldn't read all the posts in this one. Blew out after 3 pages. But I do have one things to say. Correction. Two things. First: The crows are calling in YMM. Second: Tower Dudette, I love your avatar. At the very least you have some pizazz and that counts buckets. :smt038

Gathering from your avatar...is it safe to assume you're "gay positive" or "gay friendly"?
