Stay tuned. More to come. April's equipment bid will make some new hires VERY happy.

I dunno either. I really think they oughta separate ac from jazz. Too many times people ask questions without specifying. Mr. Avcanada, what do you think. I personally would love to work for either. On a side note, whats gonna happen in this next equipment bid??? thanks OH AND I"M TALKING ABOUT AC HERE, but if you wanna tell me about jazz too i'll listen

I was refering to the mainline. 777 on the next bid. This will be good news for everyone including new hires.

Is the timing on the bid confirmed yet, or is it still conjecture?

I assume the 777 RP is still considered part of the pay group, correct? When will the new Latin America/Asia destinations be announced?

I expect that non-PG pilots will bid 777 RP and there won't be any vacancies left for newhires or other PG pilots.

There are lots of 767 and 340 RP's who are not included in the Position Group LOU. (only the 283 surplus pilots and newhires are PG)

Also, many 320 FO's will be interested because 777 RP pays more than 320 FO and you only work about 10 days a month.

If they are currently 320 FO, it will mean a downbid freeze.

Next bid tentatively sched for mid April. I would advise putting the 320 on line one.
