Caravan Airlines ad..

Post by Doc »

Now that's a good ad! Right up-front with expectations and pay. And no bond! After six months, they will Flight Safety and PPC! That aint bad. A little give and take. Why dont more companies use this form of recruitment?

yeah, i agree Doc.

but i just wonder why an operation needs caravan FO's? maybe someone can enlighten me (not being sarcastic here at all...just curious) as to what an operation other than Sander Geophysics would need a caravan FO for? Is it as a safety pilot to ease the captains workload, or is it to help load and unload cargo? still, though sounds like a straight up kind of operation. definitely better than being on the ramp. great opportunity for someone.

Best of luck living off $1500/mo. 18k/yr in Calgary is a tough thing. Unless, of course ma and pa are an option.

Agreed, a good opportunity for someone.

With a sked like that i'd guess they are being sub chartered bu Sunwest to operate the bag run.

you guys will find any thing to cut up on here. first there are no jobs and you bash the companys, now that there are jobs you'll complain about the pay.
That job will be a good start for someone with little time. spend a little more time looking on more positive things.

I hope you arent refering to my post, I am just trying to get a bit more info about the story behind the company.

With hours like that (4am starts) looks like this might be a sub charter by Sunwest for the Bag Run.

Any idea what routes this Caravan is doing?

I agree that it is very classey, especially on a forum that companies take a lot of un-warrented flack.

any idea how many caravans they have? their pics only show the one... that would mean they wont be needing anywhere near 250pilots...
