I guess you guys would know

First of all, I'm new to the forum. I am currently an A320 FO working in SouthAmerica. I'm Canadian and I really would like to head back to Canada. I know AC is hiring left and right, but I am not sure what kind of experience they are looking for. I know that it'd be most likely to go in as an ERJ FO, so I guess my airbus experience wouldn't be of much use there, but still, if anyone could throw some info my way, I'd truly appreciate it.
Cheers,
DNB

DNB,

Check my reply to you in the employment forum. With your 320 experience, AC would want you soon enough. 170 open positions on the 320 as of last bid. Best of luck

Like Slugger said. Lots of empty seats on the bus and the Union and Management are in discussions regarding putting new hires on the A320 so you would be a desirable commodity.

A320 time in South America? Sounds like TACA. Tell me, is it a case that you want to leave SA or just want to go back to Canada. I loved my time down south. I imagine there will be a Latina accompanying you back to the Great White North.

No Latina, better even, my Canadian wife is here with me ;)

I'm actually flying for LAN Airlines, which to be honest is a good solid company but I would like to head back to Canada for many reasons, and since AC is hiring, well... I have a feeling it could be a now or never (or at least a long time). Would love to go into the 320 as a new hire, because it'd save me quite a bit of studying of course, and I'm quite comfortable in the 320 by now, but hey, beggers can't be choosers, I'll take anything available.
Cheers,
