Question for the Photo Guys

Post by Phlyer »

We are looking to expand our operation this year, and for the photo processing time to be radically reduced.
I have been looking into inertial navigation systems and that looks like the way to go - the Applanix is really attractive. However, it costs 500gs:
just a bit out of my price range.
Do you other photo guys know of a cheaper system? PM me if you want.
Cheers, FF

Foto:

we have 3 Applanix systems and the fourth Airborne GPS system we use is Novatel (is about 20G's or less). It is just as good as Applanix without IMU.

As for the actual and Navigation system, the best and cheapest device for line flying is GARMIN ...

PM me or email me if you want more info on Novatel.
