During Line Indoc are you allowed to bid for certain pairings or are you just being slotted at whenever a Training Captain is available.

I believe you get what you get. Any way you cut it, it's gonna be the best block you're going to hold in a while so enjoy it.

I got all 4 day pairings with 3:30 - 4 am wakeups everyday....If thats good then I'd hate to see what a lousy pairing is.

Just think about the guy who is senior to you right now but is on reserve who is at the beck and call of crew sched. I'll bet he would give his eyeteeth for your block, so as the previous poster said, "Enjoy it."

Then again if you are not happy with that maybe your old company will take you back.

Dude, You're going to have to get used to getting up early. If you have a 5:30 show time for a day that credits 6 or 7 hours, to me thats pretty good. If it only credits 4.5 hours and has a 3 hour break in the middle then its normal and you will be doing those until you get a bit of seniority.

Easy there big shooter....no intention to offend anyone. Just a simple question. My second post was meant to be tongue in cheek.
