I keep hearing soon, but who knows exactly. BTW, I seen an ALPA sticker put on the side of one of the airplanes. WTF! Time to grow up boys and girls, that really doesn't help matters.

Thank the Lord, the company is trying to make things better, they finally gave us a weekend off (mind you, you'll probably have to work until 11 or 12 pm on friday nite)....but hey, what can you say...1 weekend off in four months, I guess the wife will have to kick the boyfriend out for that weekend ( sorry dude) the kids will probably wonder who the strange man is on sat and sun....also enjoyed them removing the training dept schedules off ours, with all their weekends off, that would just hurt moral...looks like we're losing about one a week...when is management going do something....anyway just my thoughts for this week...
Even with ALPA certification, nothing is going to change overnight until the first collective agreement is signed and then you will still have issues to deal with.
I realize things won't change overnight, but I think ALPA is the only thing keeping alot of the senior guys and gals around, I think if ALPA doesn't happen, there is going to mass exidious (I think i spelled that right) and yes even worse than it is now. You know, its not about greed, its about being taken advantage of, and I think everyone has had enough....just my thoughts anyway....
Air Canada, Sunwing, WestJet, and Emirates so far. More Emirates and WestJet interviews in June. But I've heard everyone has their ear to the ground, waiting to see what happens with ALPA and so on...so the numbers leaving don't reflect the true potential exodus.

I’m still waiting for my white male privilege membership card. Must have gotten lost in the mail.
They usually want at least a winter on the aircraft and when all said and done is around 18 months on type, depending on Sims, ECT. If your on the outside looking in they still want 5000 hrs for f/o's and more for direct entry capts and previous jet time does not hurt. On the whole a good company , and upgrades come fast.
Hey its June 1st, isn't this the date when we are supposed to get our profit sharing checks. Maybe it will be on our next pay.
hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha
I got the garden all ready, just waiting for that fat profit sharing cheque to show up so I can finish the plans for the new swimming pool I ordered. I've had it on order for 3 years now
