Some thoughts on posting names
Hi All
As they say in sports radio...long time/first time.
I have been entertained by the various postings about all things aviation related and specifically the latest opinions offered up by the more renowned anti WS posters.
It raises one question that I have. What are you guys compensating for with your tough guy names?
Blastor – what ferociousness, the very use of the word blast conjures up images of a force to be reckoned with, you fiery personality shines thru with the mega force that you undoubtedly want to show.
Rebel – conjures up images of a street walking tough guy who plays by his own set of rules. Nobody tells rebel what to do, it is like having a virtual James Dean in our midst. All cool guys are rebels, like the rebel force in Star Wars or the segregationists who still display the stars and bars down south. Rebel WITH a cause!! The cause being to slap some sense into those who disagree with….Rebel.
Tony Soprano – a name taken right out of today’s pop culture. The very name conjures up images of someone who is an outlaw who plays by their own rules. A virtual tough guy who is not to be messed with. He blasts those who rebel against his tough guy authority.
Keep up the rebellious tough guy blasting fellas, it is truly awesome and awe inspiring.
I would never say that you are overcompensating for real life shortcomings with by having cool posting names, after all I am HUGE HAMMER!

Tony, chill out man..............You strike me as the guy that could not skate well, passed as well as my grandmother and shot the puck like a male flight attendant. You were the team tough guy!! You guys never change.
Cursing and swearing on a public forum only makes you look silly, and it offends people. Young people read this as well.
Cutting sarcasm is the key here. I know it may be difficult for you to get but seriosuly....
Grow up.

Offending people..? Cmon Tony, you know that RB doesn't like competition. I'll bet there are many male Flight Attendants that could kick his ass.RB-211 wrote:Tony, chill out man.............and shot the puck like a male flight attendant.

Ah well, here I am posting on a thread about images handles portray. Yikes!!

Standby for new atis message
You got me Strappe. I have been in a few run ins with the 'Tarquins' at work. In fact found myself in a real doozy with a much larger and angrier fella (if we can call them that) in a hotel lobby in Manhattan not long ago. I was in real trouble when it suddenly came to me how to turn the tables. A quick shout out 'Heh is that Richard Simmons and George Michael walking in to the Sushi Bar?' The woofter's head turned faster than a lightning bolt and I fed him a right that even the Champ would find immpressive. Down like a sack of hammers. Game over.
On the subject of users names I am curious as to where your idea came from? I mean a crotch protecting device with a french twist? Huge Hammer whats your take?

Funny?
We've got a "professional" pilot taking his anger out physically on a homosexual (and I appoligized to him for being rude), a guy by the name of "birddog" who has way too much time on his hands and still can't spell (and what the heck are those two WJ pilots doing together??) and we think this is funny??? Our profession is in trouble boys. And it ain't Clive or Robert's fault.
